LANDING

The hook: you already think like a PM — let us prove it. Leads with confidence, not a course catalogue.

  • Resume upload as the primary CTA — gets users into the product immediately
  • Quiz option for users without a resume, so no one is gated out at the start
  • Value prop stated in one line: skills mapped, gaps identified, path to first role

PMpath replaces the infinite preparation loop with a calibrated, gated journey. Instead of passive course consumption, it gives aspiring PMs an honest signal of where they actually stand and a concrete path to their first application.

The Numbers
65%+
Onboarding completion target. All 4 steps including proficiency assessment. Defined in PRD as the leading indicator of product-market fit.
45%+
Day-7 retention target. Return and complete at least one task within a week. Learning tools live or die on habit formation.
55%+
Resume builder activation for users above 60% readiness. The product only works if people cross the threshold and actually apply.
20%+
Interview callback rate for users with 6+ stages complete. The north star — a PM role, not a readiness score.

The infinite preparation loop

Thousands of professionals want to break into product management in India. They consume courses, watch videos, and read blogs for months, but never apply. Not because they lack skill, but because nobody has ever given them an honest signal of where they actually stand. The preparation loop is infinite because there's no finish line.

The insight from user interviews

Five user interviews revealed three patterns. First, the real blocker isn't knowledge, it's the absence of calibrated self-knowledge. People can't assess their own readiness, so they default to "keep learning." Second, confidence breaks before the skill gap becomes relevant. Third, career switchers with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience get filtered out by ATS because their title doesn't say "Product Manager," even though their work does.

Research and prioritization

Researched 40+ sources covering the Indian PM hiring landscape, competitor platforms, and candidate journey data. Conducted 5 primary interviews with PM aspirants at different stages. Identified three user types: the career switcher who needs translation, the accidental PM who needs structure, and the complete beginner who needs a reality check. Prioritized 9 pain points using an impact-times-frequency scoring model.

The 4-layer architecture

01. Resume Parsing

AI-powered parsing that surfaces PM-relevant experience the user didn't know they had.

02. Skill Gap Assessment

Role-specific rubric producing a starting readiness score across PM competencies.

03. Personalized Learning Path

Weak areas get deeper modules and harder thresholds. Progress is gated, not passive.

04. Resume Builder

Takes any job description and generates a tailored resume with before-and-after ATS scoring.
